The Port of
Tees & Hartlepool, Teesport, is located on the south bank
of the River Tees, at Middlesbrough, 5 miles from the
sea.
The port accounts for over 50 million tonnes of freight
and is one of the four largest ports in the UK. P&O North
Sea Freight operate 6 weekly sailings to Holland via Rotterdam
and up to 6 weekly sailings to Belgium via the port of
Zeebrugge, making Teesport the ultimate gateway across
the north sea for the commercial ferry traveller.
